spring flowers

Our dominant ground greenery at this time of year is from the leaves of lily-of-the-valley (Convalleria majalis). Like emerald flames they light up the yard. And now they are in bloom. The fragrance is amazing!

All my best

and please stay safe at home.

    • Hi Barbara. That is a lovely memory. Not certain I know my Mom’s favourite flower but she often said her mother’s, my grandmother’s, favourite flower was forsythia.

  3. Beautifully painted and I so agree about the scent of this flower.
Searched them out every spring, called ‘ Liljekonvalj ‘ 😊 in Swedish.
