signs of spring

with 3 comments

Here are few of the signs of spring we saw on our drive last weekend:

a skunk running through the apple orchard …

pussy willows …

muddy roads …

beer cans and other returnables, released from their cover of snow …

and a New Brunswick can-and-bottle collector out for walk …

Happy Spring!

  1. Lovely Jane: we need some good news. No buds round here, slightly higher ground, but you give me hope. Thank you.

      • Patience is a virtue … unless you are a doctor and have too many of them and can’t keep up. The deer have abandoned our bird feeders in favor of the new young shoots starting to peep through the garden. I hope it won’t be long now … these old bones need sunshine and warmth.
