Red fall

with 5 comments

In a few days we have seen green trees and shrubs turn to reds, oranges and yellows, the colour of fall. Then, in another short space of time, the rains come and so much of the colour is gone. One thing I like about living in this part of Canada, nature makes its presence known in the march of the seasons. We can never lull ourselves into thinking we are independent of our surroundings.

All my best,

  1. I’m so jealous! Here, red foliage falls off as fast as it starts to show color so we almost never get a glimpse of something like you show here.

    • Our oaks and beech still cling to their leaves and colour! More golden colours!

      • It sounds lovely. We just had our first snow, and that made most of the remainder leaves fall.

    • Hi. Yes very noticeable in the ditches along the north side of the river. My husband took the photos! Thanks.
