this book will remind you of your own experiences picking berries

a tribute to every age of our lives – dancing in the school gym and picking berries with arthritic hands

it will recall the habits of your ancestors

a beautiful book – rests open in your hands as you read

a font so easy on the eyes

I hope you will love within easy reach

  1. It really does sound like a wonderful book. I had never heard of fiddleheads and even found there are fiddlehead festivals. 🙂 I love your drawings.

    • Hi. Thanks for your encouragement! Another way to be able to read the book is to ask your local library to order it in … local foods and food security are current topics and they may think it would be a good addition to their collection! Jane

    • Hi Roger. The biggest fear is that only my publisher and I will show! However, I love to read so I guess that would be OK. I hope for busy evenings, with lots of books to sign. My approach to signing is to write a short, appropriate quote from the book! Jane.

      • Remind us all when the launch is … and keep reminding us … and put it on Facebook … and send it to FF … and to the Odd Sundays Group … and don’t forget ArtsNB …

    • Hi. Thanks Lone Grey Squirrel – perhaps reading it would make your life less lonely – you could ask your local library to order it I think! 🙂 Jane
